Intraoral Cameras

Intraoral Cameras in Borger, TX

An intraoral camera is a small, pen-sized wand with a camera on the tip. Dr. Robertson uses it to take close-up photos of individual teeth, gums, and areas of the mouth that are hard to see otherwise. The main benefit is that you get to see what he sees on the monitor.

How the photos help

It's one thing to be told you have a cracked molar or early decay between two teeth. It's another to see it yourself on a screen, magnified and in focus. When Dr. Robertson is explaining what's going on and what your options are, the photos make that conversation much more concrete — you can decide with real information, not just a description.

Other ways we use them

The same images are useful for referrals to specialists and for insurance documentation when a claim needs visual evidence. Photos from each visit also become part of your chart, which means we can compare how an area has changed over time rather than relying on memory.
