Dental Veneers in Borger, TX
Veneers are thin, custom shells bonded to the front of your teeth to cover chips, stains, gaps, and uneven shapes. They're a good fit when whitening alone won't solve the problem or when the teeth you want to change aren't badly damaged — just not what you'd pick if you had the choice.
What veneers can fix
- Gaps or spaces between front teeth
- Deep staining that won't lift with whitening
- Teeth that are chipped, worn down, or unevenly shaped
- Minor crowding or slight misalignment you don't want to treat with braces
Porcelain vs. composite
Porcelain is the more popular choice for a reason — it reflects light the way natural enamel does, resists staining, and holds its color for years. Composite (resin) veneers cost less and can be shaded to match your other teeth, so they're a reasonable option when budget is the deciding factor. Dr. Robertson will walk through both at the consultation so you can weigh the tradeoffs.
How the process works
Most veneer cases take two appointments. At the first, Dr. Robertson prepares the teeth, takes impressions, and chooses a shade with you. At the second, the finished veneers are bonded in place. If you're a candidate for CEREC same-day restorations, the whole thing can sometimes happen in one visit — we'll tell you during the consultation whether that's an option for your case.
